Inconel 722 i s a nickel-chrome alloy with additions of titanium and aluminum for added strength. It had applications in the J93 (XB-70 bomber engine), primarily as frame and casings. Flanges, struts etc. made from Alloy 722 were also used in conjuction with investment castings of Alloy 718.
